Candles help Christians to remember that Jesus is the light of the world and that when he rose to life on Easter Day he got rid of the darkness of evil. In the UK, during the Easter holidays, people pay attentions to poor people in fact they do a lot of offers. The Maundy thursday is celebrated the Ceremony of the royal maundy, and the queen also partecipates. In this ceremony are chosen two pearson and they receive money.
