When I opened the gift box I found a book about One Direction's biography. I was only twelve years old when this band was born and like every girls I liked them. I really wanted this biography and I tried to convince my parents to buy it. One day, when I went back from school, I was really tired so I ran in my bedroom. When I arrived in my bedroom, I saw a gift box under my bed, I was really curious so I asked my parents what was it and they told me that the gift was for my sister and I felt sad. The next day, it was my name day and my parents gave me the same gift box. I opened the gift and I found the One Direction's biography, I was really happy!

Easter

Easter Sunday or Easter Day is the most important day of the year for Christians. It is when they celebrate that three daysafter being killed, Jesus rose from the dead, sometimes called 'the Resurrection' and defeated evil forever. A lot of Churches start the Easter Sunday celebrations at Midnight on Easter Eve. Candles are used in churches all over the world to start the Easter Day Midnight celebrations. Candles help Christians to remember that Jesus is the light of the world and that when he rose to life on Easter Day he got rid of the darkness of evil. In the UK, during the Easter holidays, people pay attentions to poor people in fact they do a lot of offers. The Maundy thursday is celebrated the Ceremony of the royal maundy, and the queen also partecipates. In this ceremony are chosen two pearson and they receive money. In the Good friday in the UK is done a dance and the pearson wear traditional costumes, one of these pearson keep a stick and he affects all woman beacuse it lucky charm, while Easter Sunday is tradition get married. 

A woman that i admire

Brigitte Anne Marie Bardot was born to 28 september 1934, is a French actress, singer, dancer and fashion model. She was one of the best known sex symbols. She was an aspiring dancer in her early life. She started her acting career in 1952. She achieved international recognition in 1957, after starring in the film "And God created woman" and caught the attention of French intellectuals.
I admire Brigitte Bardot because even if she was doing works that every girls would like to do,
in the 1973, she leaves the world of cinema and she is dedicated to her passion: the animals.
In fact, she started to denounce the mistreatment of animals on TV and she became a vegetarian. In the 1986 she creates the "Foundation Brigitte Bardot" for the welfare and protection of animals.

A pearson that i admire

A pearson that i admire is Chris Martin.
Chris Martin was born in 2 march 1977,  is an English singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and philanthropist. He is best known as the lead singer and co-founder of the British rock band Coldplay.
Martin went to University College London where he formed a rock band with Jonny Buckland in 1996 called Pectoralz. I admire Martin because even if he is not very young, he still has a lot of grint and manages to sing. Even if he has a family: a wife and two children, he does not gives up concerts all over the world.
I like him because he is very generous, he loves halping poor people and he loves to live life to the full.
He teaches with his songs that the life is a gift and that the love is a beautiful thing. In fact his songs like everyone: adults, children and teenagers; he has a lot of fan.
My favorite songs are: "A sky full of stars" and "Everglow", but all of them give me a unique emotion for their lyrics. I would like to go to a concert one day and i hope to meet him in pearson.

The first Valentine's cards were sent in the 18th century.
Initially these were handmade and decorate whit romantic symbols like flowers, hearts, love knots and lines of poetry. These cards were then slipped secretly under a door or tied to a door-knocker.
It was in Georgian Britain that pre-printed cards first began to appear. Perhaps the oldest surviving card dates from 1797, this card was sent by one Catherine Massday to a Mr. Brown.
In the Victorian age, thanks to the construction of new machines, many cards were produced.
Not all Victorian Valentine's cards were so romantic, however.
The less- up were able to buy "Vinegar Valentines", cards designed to insult.

THE LAZY BEAR

It's spring in the forest. The snow has gone, leaves are growing and the animals are waking up.

Bruno the bear is still asleep, He doesn't know that it's spring. "Listen! Bruno is snoring!".

Now it's summer. It's warm and the animals are having lots of fun. But where's Bruno? Bruno is still asleep. He doesn't know that it's summer. Now it's autumn, the leaves are turning red, yellow and orange. The animals are getting ready for winter. But where's Bruno? Bruno is still asleep. He doesn't know that it's autumn. Now it's winter. You can't see the animals. They're all asleep in their warm homes. But where's Bruno? "What a nice, long asleep. Snow! It's winter! I'm all alone."

It's spring again. The animals are very happy. They've having a party.

But where's Bruno? "Bruno!" Bruno is awake at last. Now he knows that it's spring.
